GRR number: 16-033
Type of Surrender: Bastrop Animal Shelter
Status: Available
Age: 2 ½ years
Weight: 41.6 lbs (goal weight ~35 lbs)
Personality: Oakley was surrendered by her owners to the Bastrop Animal Shelter, and it appears that she recently gave birth to a litter of puppies. It was clear that Oakley was craving affection and attention at the shelter, as she practically crawled into a volunteer’s lap when GRR came to pick her up. Oakley is undoubtedly a sweetheart and seems to love everyone she meets. You might just call her a “lovebug” upon meeting her. She loves to be pet and doesn’t want you to stop once you start giving her affection! GRR believes Oakley will make someone a great companion.
Oakley looks like a Golden retriever, but may also have some Australian shepherd in her (according to the shelter). She has a good energy level and would really thrive in a home that is happy to exercise her and provide her with some obedience training.
Ideal home: Oakley would love a family who is active and willing to shower her with attention!
