Personality: Tyrion is a very handsome and street-smart guy that is through with the streets and looking for a new place to call home. He’s enjoying life with his fosters right now and is excited about everything! Some of his favorite new things are regular feedings, new canine friends, and his new toys. As a typically golden boy, he’s strikingly handsome, he’s a fast learner, and he’s incredibly charming.

In the house, he is learning house manners, potty training, and he is learning about bath time. Although baths are not much appreciated, the toy reward after is well worth the excruciating minutes in the tub. Tyrion loves his toys! He enjoys parading them around like they are special treasures. He also enjoys talking to them when he makes them squeak at him. He enjoys his toys almost as much as he enjoys his food. Eating is such an exciting event that Tyrion sings with joy when he knows its dinnertime! However, he is learning to fight through the excitement and politely wait for his food.

Tyrion is such a loving and charming guy and wants nothing more than to show his appreciation to everyone he meets. He does this by jumping up to give them a big hug! He is learning that some people do not appreciate his hugs and he is attempting to keep his feet on the ground. He finds children equally as wonderful and they bring out the puppy in him. But because of  his size, older children are better to play with. Tyrion is also an athlete. He is a master at counter surfing, a leader in the shredding of paper game, in the top five of dumpster divers, and one of the best pouncers of toys on the ground you will ever meet!

Tyrion is learning a lot and knows there will be a lot more learning to come! He’s excited about everything around him and is looking for that special someone to help him continue his education. If you’re looking for that charming, enthusiastic, puppy like kind of guy look no further than Tyrion!

Ideal Home: Tyrion still needs to learn a lot, but is showing improvement with his foster family daily. He will need someone to continue his training and he would do well with official obedience training. While Tyrion likes other dogs, excitable dogs send him into a tizzy and he is still learning how to better channel the energy. A family with a low energy or confident dog that can set boundaries Tyrion would be great. He would also do well with older children. Tyrion is still learning about sharing and will occasionally feel the need to protect his toys from other dogs. Once the toy is removed, he recovers quickly and resumes play. Cats are a new experience for him, but his foster’s are confident that he would do well.
