Personality: This charming girl is loaded with personality and life. Starr is a 5-year old Golden with beautiful red fur – she may need to lose a few pounds, but with a little exercise and portion control, Starr will be fit and fabulous in no time!
Starr was a much loved companion in her previous home, but unfortunately her former family was unable to bring her with them during a move. Starr was well taken care of though, and she’s relatively healthy with the exception of seasonal allergies.
Starr is an excellent family dog who loves affection and does well with children. She loves to have something in her mouth, and will wag her whole body back and forth with joy when you give her a soft toy. Starr even likes to pretend she’s walking herself when she holds her leash in her mouth!
Starr would benefit from a little training – she’s very well behaved overall, but does have the little naughty habit of jumping when she’s excited. This can be fixed, however, with a little discipline and positive reinforcement.
Ideal home: Starr would do great with a family with an average activity level. She loves affection and people, and would thrive in an environment where she can receive a lot of love.
