Personality: Sadie is a gorgeous, sturdy blonde girl. Sadie's owners surrendered her to GRR because they felt that she needed a home where she would receive more attention. She had spent most of her life outside by herself. Because of this, she is very high energy and loves to jump and play.

Sadie is settling in to life as an indoor dog. She is crateds when she is left alone and is just fine with that and is almost completely housebroken. SHe sleeps through the night without waking up her foster folks. Sadie plays well with other dogs and gets excited and bouncy around children. She does, however, chase cats, so her new home should probably not have kitties.

Currently, she needs a crate to ride in the car and is still pulling when on the leash, but lots of patience and chances to walk will help with that. She does love to retrieve and swim like a true Golden Retriever, and enjoys being groomed.

Ideal Family: Since Sadie is so high energy, she needs a family ready for a puppy, with the time and energy to give her lots of physical and mental exercise and some serious training. She will be a great dog once this happens. A family with cats and small children is not recommended for Sadie.
