Handsome Ransom, as he is affectionately known around GRR, is ready for a new home. He has been part of the GRR family for over 4 years when he was first adopted. Unfortunately, his family has been forced to give up for personal reasons.
Personality: Since Ransom is a proven GRR dog, he is completely housetrained and free to roam the house with no worries. He sleeps well through the night and plays well, although he likes to keep to himself in that regard. He also enjoys a good swim like any Golden Retriever would.
He loves to be brushed and is very calm and happy riding in the car. He loves his walkies although he is a bit excitable and pulls right at first. Ransom’s energy level is moderate, but he is a very friendly dog, so can pick up the pace of his activity level for a good romping play session. Ransom has a stuffed bear he loves to carry around with him while he paces the yard and house.
Ideal Home: Ransom would do well in a nice, quiet home without children, but may include another dog for him to ramp up his activity level.
