Personality: Grant is a sweet puppy with a shy side.  As a puppy, Grant is still learning about car rides and walking on a leash.  His sweet puppy nature is balanced by his grown-up doggie manners.  He is fully housebroken, has taken well to his crate, and is trustworthy enough to be left alone in the house with no signs of chewing, jumping, or accidents.

He's slow to warm to people since he and his brother Gabe were strays and may have been on their own for awhile. But he loves his doggie foster brother! He enjoys following his foster brother around the backyard and learning all the things his foster brother can teach him.  Since his foster brother has chased away all the cats in the area, we’re not sure how Grant may interact with cats.

Ideal Home:

Grants forever home should be one with no children or with children who are 10 or older.Grant would not do well in a loud, rambunctious family since while Grant is very sweet, he is also quite timid. The key for Grant will be a calm environment he can build trust with. Grant needs a family who will be patient and work with him to build his trust in humans and his confidence.  Grant will likely be 30-35 lbs when grown, so he’s perfect for a home with a small yard. Grant would do best with another dog to show him the ropes.
