“How old would you be if you didn't know how old you was?" ~ Satchel Paige

Curtis, is a nine year old redhead with a spirit of a youngster. He enjoys being active, getting brushed, and spending lots of time with his family. He is well mannered in the home and good with children age 8 and older. He is a spry guy with speckles of gray and a heart that knows no boundaries.

To Curtis, age is not relevant. He enjoys a very active lifestyle with some of his favorite activities including swimming and dock diving, taking long walks or jogs, and enjoying the simple pleasure of chasing a green, fuzzy, tennis ball. He loves the tennis ball so much that he may be reluctant to give it up, but he always appreciates chasing it. Car rides are also fun times for Curtis, and he enjoys displaying his gentlemanly behaviors while in the car. Speaking of well mannered behaviors, this young man also knows his commands, like sit, stay, and come. The “down” command is a work in progress, as sometimes there is just too much excitement to lie down.

Active, handsome and incredibly well mannered, Curtis is an all around lovable guy and he loves everyone. Kids, adults, and other puppies are all okay with him. Cats however, are still new so it’s unsure how he would do with them.

Curtis’ only requirements are an active, mostly at home family that is willing to love him completely, and provide him with comfort and quiet when there is a thunderstorm. In return, he will shower you with love, chase the squirrels from your yard, and will make happy memories with you for the rest of his life.

If you’re looking for that handsome, well-mannered, and young at heart Golden, put in an application to meet Curtis.

Ideal home:

Curtis would thrive with an active person or family that is home most of the day to share his time with. He is a very charming guy and would do well in most homes, with or without children.
