Personality: This young man is a Valentine delivery aptly named Cupid since he is extremely loving and adores attention. In his fosters’ home, if you sit on the floor, you will immediately get tons of kisses, or he will roll over to request belly rubs.

Cupid is a perfectly happy bouncy guy with everyone he encounters. His enthusiasm has given way to an occasional jump up when he gets really excited. He is well socialized with other dogs, but has not quite got the hang of “play” with his fosters’ female Goldens just yet.  He has participated in a game of play chase with the fosters’ male Golden, however (perhaps a “guy thing”).  This boy lives to retrieve, and returns the ball reliably, but is not always into dropping it upon his return!

Cupid has been free to roam his fosters’ home, but is also fine with relaxing in his crate when left unattended. Recently, he has discovered his fosters’ footwear, carrying around her house shoes in his mouth. Now where did that slipper go?

His household manners are relatively good, with only one accident in the house so far.  That’s quite something, given his recent transition from the shelter. Car rides are just great too, especially when they end in a walk in the park.  On walks, he pulls just a bit, but has made great progress on his leash training in a short time.  His foster brags about his intelligence and quick up-take, learning new commands like “down”.

He has no problem with appetite, and he eagerly chows down on his new improved nutrition. No food anxiety here, even when one of his fosters’ Goldens stands in his face as she sometimes decides to do at times. He is one appreciative guy.

A true Golden, Cupid is great at sleeping, with not a peep during the night. He just loves grooming and the attention it brings. Cupid will intently watch as he is brushed, fascinated with the brushes and luxuriating in the moment. Thi s new life with GRR is just unbelievable!

Ideal Home:    This is one fine young man that would make any home a better place.   That lucky household should be prepared to receive an avalanche of love and attention from Cupid, because he is more than ready and able to deliver it!
