Mona radiates sweetness! There is nothing that could make her unhappy. As a stray, she came to the rescue in need of some tender, loving, care and a little medical attention. Even though she may have been uncomfortable, she never let it show. She met her discomfort with a gentle sweetness and confidence that would be an inspiration to anyone.
Mona is incredibly affectionate and is equally excited about life. She does not let her age stop her. She does have a slight cataract in her left eye and a slight heart murmur due to her heartworms, but neither of these issues seem to slow her down or cause her any trouble. Mona has no problem keeping up with her foster siblings while they enjoy the simple pleasure in life of chasing squirrels.
Change is no problem for this girl. Mona is alert and curious about her new surroundings and is always eager to stay by your side. She displays her loyalty by staying very close to her person to let them know that she will always be with them, wherever they go.
Her manners are something to be admired. She has excellent leash manners and enjoys going for a walk. Mid-day naps in the air conditioning are appreciated as well. She is always exceptional in the home and her foster parents have nothing negative to say about this well behaved beauty.

Ideal home:
Mona is incredibly sweet and wants nothing more than to be loved. She would do well in most home environments, although she prefers to have the company of her person as often as she can.
