Personality: Molly is such a sweet and gentle lady. She enjoys the companionship and attention of her family as well as everyone else. She also loves kids but she really loves all attention. Molly shows her playful side when the squeaky toys come out; she will twirl around and do a dance because she thinks those squeaky toys are the bee’s knees! Molly is afraid of rain storms and lightening as many dogs are and she gets nervous about it but then that just means more cuddle time for you! You should know that this poor gal was an outdoor dog for the past SIX years! Can you even imagine? Her previous home did not have the time to spend with her and they kept her outside. The only time she was not outside was during storms when she was let into the garage. This wonderful dog deserves love and a forever home. Molly does well with other dogs, she is mellow and just wants to be loved. Molly has been exposed to cats on occasion and she is indifferent to them. She hasn’t had much attention paid to her during her life and you would never even know this since she is such a good natured dog. Molly may be a Golden Retriever but she isn’t going to keep retrieving things if you keep throwing them. She may go back a couple of times to get something but she gets bored of that game. She also likes the water and going on walks; she has great leash manners.

Ideal home:  The best home for Molly would be one where she would be an indoor dog and be treated as part of the family. Since Molly is afraid of storms she needs someone who is familiar with storm phobia and will keep her company during storms. She really needs love and companionship more than anything. As a side note, she is also afraid of fireworks the same way she is afraid of thunder
