Personality: Hamilton is one happy dog and lives to please. His foster mom describes him as the epitome of a “Velcro dog” that follows her around wherever she goes. Being the mellow golden boy that he is, Hamilton loves and plays well with other dogs. He also loves people and gets excited whenever he meets someone new. But he contains his excitement by just bouncing up and down excitedly without actually setting paws on his new two-legged acquaintances. Hamilton is "young-at-heart." HIs doctor puts  his age and somewhere between 7 and 8 but says he has the energy of a 2 year old. What a glowing endorsement!

Hamilton travels well, switching between watching out the window as the world goes by or laying calmly on the seat to keep an eye on his chauffer. He enjoys a low-key game of fetch, trotting off gladly to bring the ball right back. Hamilton’s carefree personality often has him running around the backyard chasing any squirrel or deer that catches his eye.

Big plus! This laid-back boy doesn’t seem to be the least bit disturbed by thunder or rainstorms.

Ideal Home:    Hamilton is so easy going and such a love bug that he would be a good fit for just about any forever family. But since he’s a pretty big boy and still wants to pull on his leash, he’ll need someone who can reign  him and work on that sled dog mentality!
