Florence was found wandering on a dirt road near Floresville, Texas. To make a long story short, the Wilson County shelter helped Florence find her way to GRR. Aside from a bad flea infestation and having a benign ulcerated tumor removed by our vets, she is in pretty good shape. She is being treated for hookworms.
Personality: So far, her foster family reports that Florence is a sweetie, is housebroken, and knows some commands. They have not found it necessary to crate her because she is trustworthy.
Florence likes the company of other dogs, but she does not actively engage in play time. She doesn’t seem interested in balls and toys.
She is calm in the house, has no bad habits, and has quickly learned the joys of lolling on the couch. In fact, her fosters say that she is amazingly well-trained.
Ideal Family: Florence would love a family that is looking for the perfect laid-back companion with wonderful manners.
