Personality: Enrique is a gorgeous red boy with a little white tuft on his chest. Enrique is, without a doubt, quite lively.
He had an accident in his foster home on the first night, but none since. He is very quick to settle down and go to sleep quietly through the night. He’s free to roam everywhere except upstairs, which is baby gated.
Enrique is happy and calm and takes direction well. The 10-year-old in the home is teaching him basic commands. He lovingly and gently takes the treats that result in learning well and he absolutely loves attention, which may be why he loves to be brushed and enjoys baths.
Enrique plays well with the 5-year-old golden in the house and loves stuffies and ropes for playing tug-of-war. He happily jumps in the car when it’s time for ride and settle right down. He doesn’t seem to have any experience with a leash as he pulls quite a bit, like he doesn’t even know it’s there.
Enrique lays down in the pool to cool off, but no swimming to this point. However, he did step onto the stand-up paddle board and floated around for a bit. In the house he is calm and follows his foster mom around, often carrying a toy in his mouth. He’s happy to play and chase a ball.
Ideal Home: Enrique was very quick to learn the schedule and rules in his foster home, which may indicate that he would do the same when he gets his forever home. He has so much love to give and would be happy in any home that gives back as much love as he does.
