Personality: Dobby is a free boy and looking for his new family to serve with love! This once shy boy is starting to come out of his shell with his foster family, and beneath his adorable exterior is a loving boy with a seemingly golden personality.
Dobby is starting to get used to his new life with his foster dog siblings, who he is learning to play with. So far, they are all getting along great, but Dobby is still unsure what this whole play time thing is about. He is mostly hanging back and observing the others.
Unlike Dobby the elf (from Harry Potter), this boy has no desire to snag your socks. He is still learning what the big deal with toys are all about, but he has enjoyed some play time with his soft rope. He has that normal golden “spunky yet chill” personality and mostly just wants to spend his time hanging with his humans.
Dobby has been doing very well with crate training at night, only whining a little bit when it is bed time. During the day he is baby-gated to a certain area of the house and chills there until the people return. He loves the people and tries to be around them as much as possible… sometimes giving a little nudge for a pet or two. He is also very good about house-training. He has had only one accident since being with his foster family on the first day.
His foster family is currently monitoring his back-left leg, which he was limping on for a few days. He has been checked out at the vet, and with some medications seems to be improving quite nicely. He also has a small cough 1-2 times per day that is being monitored.
Ideal Home: Dobby the free is ready to be a loving member of his new furrever family. Dobby would do well with or without a dog-sibling to play with, but definitely wants some humans who will give him lots of love and cuddles. If you are looking for a spunky, yet chill golden to brighten up your day, then look no further!
