Personality: Charlie is one of the sweetest Golden you might ever meet.  He was turned in to GRR when his family felt their new home was too small to accommodate him as well as their two other dogs.

Charlie got along just fine with the dogs in his former home and when he is with his new foster parents' dogs they all just love to chill and “hang out.”.

Charlie can be trusted to be left at home and just relaxes during the day, but when his foster family gets home, they are bombarded with a rush of love. Charlie just loves attention and being with his people like a true “Velcro” golden.  Besides all this love in his heart, he is a very smart boy, too.  Charlie knows all kinds of commands and drops toys well. (He likes playing fetch with balls and sticks.).  He’s sweet when he takes treats and is great in the car.

When Charlie walks. he loves to be in the lead.  He would be a great running partner to help with your New Year resolutions!  He does slow down when you tell him to, though and he’s friendly on walks to his neighborhood dog friends.  Charlie’s the perfect pup.  So much so, you’ll barely notice his precious sloppy water drinking. (Just keep a towel handy.)

Charlie is in tip-top shape at his fun age of 8.  He gets ear infections occasional, but other than that he’s an all-around healthy and good boy.

Ideal Home:    Charlie would be a great family dog where he gets to have all the attention to himself.  He’s also great with other dogs too.  He hasn’t been around cats much, but does bark at them.
