Personality: A “sweet gentleman” is how Blue’s foster family describe him. There are so many positive things to say about him: perfectly housetrained; so well-behave that a crate is not necessary; loves riding in the car; and “plays well with others” (dogs, people and older children). He’s learning not to pull when on the leash and, boy, does he love to swim after a big dive into the water! And balls? He loves to roll around in the grass with the ball in his mouth.
Blue is a regular “Mr. Manners” when it comes to his behavior in the house, especially in the kitchen and when it’s dinner time. Overall, he is a gem to be around.
But everybody (dogs AND people) have quirks, and Blue seems to have a shoe fetish, carrying them around the house and moving them to new places. Just moving them, not chewing them, mind you!
Ideal Home: Blue’s ideal home is any family that will love him and appreciate his sweet demeanor. Dogs and older children are fine and he’s learning to get along with cats.
