Personality: Anna is a slim, young blonde girl who is already housetrained and free to roam the house – no crate or baby gate.

Anna likes to play. She’s bigger than the other dogs in her foster home and that extra 35 pounds she has the over them often sends them tumbling. She loves them and just wants to play. She hasn’t been exposed to a cat. She’ll retrieve a ball a few times, but right now she is easily distracted. Squirrel!!!

Anna is also nice and calm in the car. On her first walk she did fine, but it’s been way too hot take her for a lot of walkies. She also hasn’t been around water yet.

Recently when left alone Anna has started chewing, so her foster family is working on that. Anna says, “I’m very fond of foster mom’s right sandal. Only the right sandal.” Dragging laundry around the house is fun, too. Nothing has been destroyed and she is learning what is okay to chew on and what is not.

Anna is very calm and well-behaved. She absolutely loves to be petted and loved on and her favorite thing is rub up against people. Maybe she is part cat! When the other dogs are getting their loving, Anna will barge in and demand her time. This is another thing her foster folks are working on.

She sleeps soundly through the night, but if she has to go potty, she will wake someone up, go straight out to do her business and come right back in to sleep.

Ideal Home: It’s too early to know what Anna needs. Stay tuned as we learn more about her medically.
