Personality: Who wouldn’t want a “Golden Shadow” who loves to cuddle? Meet our new GRR Golden, Abby. She was an owner surrender to the shelter in San. She came in with some skin issues which are quickly clearing up.
Abby is a sweet, gentle girl who is 5-6 months old and definitely has some puppy happy dance moments. She would love to have a playmate in addition to lots of loving and attention from her family. So far she has no problem with cats in the house except for the fact that they don’t really want to play when she does; typical cat behavior.
This pretty puppy is low key most of the time and just loves being loved. She is on her way to being completely potty trained and sleeps in a crate through the night. Abby will easily listen and responds to positive reinforcement with toys. She rides nicely in a car and is also does well on a leash.
Ideal Home: If Abby had her way, she would love a forever family that she could be with her 24-7. Abby doesn’t jump but if she is following behind you she may just poke her head between her legs! Since she’s still a pup, she’ll need a family that will give her a lot of exercise and see to her training to teach her to be a proper grown-up Golden.
