Hi! I am NOT a polar bear, despite what my foster parent says! I am just a big,
light Golden Retriever! I can’t believe he is so confused! OK, sure, I’m
probably 90 pounds. And yes, it’s true, I am one of lightest Goldens you’ll ever
see. But I live in Austin, not at the North Pole!
People keep telling me that I’m a gentle giant, but I am just being myself. I
love people, other dogs (see me in the picture below with four other of my
Golden friends!), and just about everything else. I don’t jump, I am not pushy
or aggressive, and I’m so polite that I don’t even like to take things from your
hand (please drop it for me!).
I love to go for walks, and nothing is more fun than water! I’m told that I’m
wonderful on walks because I don’t pull on the leash and always follow my human
friends. To me, that comes naturally.
One thing that I don’t like: cats! They just aren’t my favorites! No offense to
all the cat lovers out there, but there just isn’t enough room in a house for my
big heart and those haughty little creatures. But other dogs, kids, people -
grrrreat!
I’d like to meet you and find my forever home. I’m young and full of energy, and
can’t wait to become your best friend! And no ice is necessary!
