Wylie
came to a local shelter as a stray after police officers found him relaxing in a
pond with a very tight rope around his neck. He had clearly been spending his
time as a yard dog on a tie-out before he made a daring break for it! He is
safely in custody in his foster home now, and here's a note from his foster mom:
Here are some pics of Wylie. He is an absolute delight and will make a wonderful
companion for someone special. His name should have been Smilie!! He is always
happy and a little bit of a velcro dog. He loves to lie at your feet. He is a
great retriever and will bring anything right back to you. He has learned to sit
and stay, and we are working on his leash manners. He is completely housebroken,
doesn't bother anything in the house, and is good in the crate. What a wonderful
boy he is!!!
