I finally have a digital camera to
send you a picture of Sonny. This is his puppy that he sleeps with every
night. We are all still crazy about him, especially me. I don't know what
there is about him - but I just love him so.

Sonny... How about a Golden with “diamond” eyes? He will truly dazzle you! Sonny is a gorgeous 1 1/2 -year-old who came to GRR when his owners made the difficult decision to find him a new home. They loved him but felt they just could not give him the time he needed.
Sonny is a joy – very happy and sociable! He loves to play with toys, other dogs, cats, and people. He has lots of energy and loves to retrieve a ball, but he’s also content just lying at your feet. He responds well to his name and picks up on basic commands quickly. He can be a little mischievous, having locked his foster mom out of the house one night by pulling down the latch on the patio door. (He said it was an accident, and who could doubt that sweet face?)
Sonny sleeps right through the night and is totally housebroken. He loves to be brushed!
And those diamond eyes—they’re caused by a small fissure in the lower eyelid, and they give Sonny a soulful look that will melt your heart.
