Chloe
UPDATE 8/23: Note from Chloe’s foster mom: “Chloe is doing great. She
is scheduled for her first heartworm treatment on Friday, 8/25. She has
gained weight (good in her case), and she seems to really love living here.
She's such a ray of light in our house.”
Update 08/25/06:
I'm attaching a few pictures. Some of them are pretty funny. The one where she is "swimming" (i.e. splashing herself in the face) was quite an experience. We take Ginny, our own GRR dog, swimming all the time. She always jumps right in, and darned if the constant follower Chloe didn't jump in right after her until she realized... uh oh, not such a good swimmer. Next time she'll wear Ginny's "lifejacket." Unfortunately it will be a while before she can go swimming again, as her first HW shot is tomorrow, and she'll have a double-shot next month. She'll be fresh off restricted activity by the time Oom Pup Paws comes around, but we'll just be starting to work activity back in by then. The other silly picture is when Chloe ran and got into Ginny's bed before Ginny could get there, and Ginny is looking at me with eyes that say, "You told me to go get in my bed, but there's really not room in here for the both of us. What are you going to do about it?"
