Sally
Hi,
My name is Sally. I’m a sweet, smart, sassy, silly and spontaneous Golden girl
who just wants to have fun! I’m young and beautiful and ready to explore the
world with you. Hey, life’s too short to be sitting around doing nothing.
I love to go for walks. I’m the best walking companion in the world. My foster
mom says I’m absolutely the best foster dog she has ever had to walk perfectly
on a lead. This is especially impressive because I’m such a young gal. My mom
was told that I love to go to the river to play and swim. I do like water—I help
my foster mom water plants by biting at the water coming out of the hose. Chomp!
Chomp!
I also love to go for rides. It’s such fun! In my former life I rode around the
neighborhood in a golf cart. What a blast! Golf anyone? Cars are great, too, and
what a treat with all those great smells. It’s simple. Open window, push nose to
outside air, breathe in deeply. You wouldn’t believe what pups can smell. Talk
about sensory overload! Wow!
The canine companionship at my foster home is pretty great. I’ve had such a
wonderful time playing with my foster sisters. We get pretty carried away at
times, but it is all in fun. It would be wonderful to have my own doggie brother
or sister to horse around with when I’m adopted.
I’m still trying to figure out these felines, but I have learned “you don’t mess
with the cats!” I’m very curious about them, but I have respected their
territory … although at times it is very tempting to want to play chase with
them.
As for kids, I’m game. I would love a team of children so we could all play
games. I’m a kid myself, you know.
Oh yes, let me tell you about my behavior. Since coming to my foster home I have
learned how to get along with everyone and I have learned the rules of the
household. I can play hard but I settle down quickly. I sleep through the night
beside my foster parents’ bed. I love attention and roll over on my back to get
my tummy rubbed. I am very sweet and want to be as close as possible to my loved
ones.
I do know how to sit but I realize I need to continue my education by attending
doggie obedience school. Could we go together? I promise to be valedictorian of
the class.
Well, that’s a quick synopsis of my personality. Would you like to know more
about me? Why don’t you come meet me? I know we will both fall in love.
If you adopt me I promise to be your best friend. We’ll be best buddies forever!
