Remembered

We had to put our Golden, Lani, down this morning; it was
horrible. I
would love to add the following memorial to the GRR site, please.
We lost our beloved Lani whom we adopted from the GRR. She was by far
the best dog; so gentle with the kids, so loving to our poodle
(Gidget, who passed on in April 09) and to our kitty, Mira; we didn't
tell her that she wasn't their mother because it would have crushed
her. She licked them clean every chance she got. She loved to swim in
the lake; she often ventured to Lake Buchanan with our family. She was
perfectly behaved but perhaps could never get enough attention; all of
our friends were in love with her, too; she licked them as well and
they let her! We miss you terribly, Lani; we hope you and Gidget are
having fun together in the spirit world.

Lani... Hi, my name is Lani and I am five years old. I am a sweet, calm, easy-going girl. I love people and really like to keep my humans company. I get on great with other dogs, too. I just went to the country this weekend and discovered I love to swim in the river!
