A Note from Paja's Foster Parents:
Paja is beautiful, auburn, 7-year-old boy who has lived with a couple of
different families in his life. He is in great health, other than needing to
lose a few pounds—and since he enjoys playing with his foster brother and
sister, and just loves walks, the extra weight is already falling right off.
Paja (his name rhymes with “rajah”) has great manners. No jumping on you, no
counter surfing, no leash-pulling! The few times he’s climbed onto the
furniture, it’s been because our dogs were up there getting some attention and
cuddling—and who could resist a cuddle session? Paja has lived with young
children and toddlers, including our own grade schoolers, and he’s very gentle
and well-behaved around kids. He quickly became a regular for the bedtime
ritual: he happily listens to the bedtime stories, and then makes the rounds to
say good night to each child.
Besides his walks (you can NEVER have too
many walks), Paja loves swimming or just cooling off in the wading pool after a
great game of chase, fetch or frisbee. During a thunderstorm, you’ll find him
quietly hiding out in a bathroom or the pantry, but the rest of the time Paja is
to be found dozing near his foster mom or sleeping by the door waiting for
everyone to come home.
And that’s where he is now – waiting by the door for a family whose hearts have
enough love for a Golden gem named Paja.
