Spice ...ADD A LITTLE(?) SPICE TO YOUR LIFE!!!

Spice came to GRR when his original owner, an elderly woman, could no longer care for him. Throughout his nearly 5 years, he’s had excellent vet care, along with his regular monthly heartworm and flea prevention. It was obvious he had never missed a meal, either, as he arrived somewhat overweight! He has since lost those extra pounds and is now svelte and in excellent physical shape. He has boundless energy and loves to play. Sometimes you’d never know he’s almost 5 years old—he acts like a puppy! He is a very good swimmer and can swim with two tennis balls in his mouth at one time!

Spice is very loving and affectionate, and he thoroughly enjoys being the center of attention. He soaks up any affection he can get, and he’s certainly not shy about asking for a pet or a scratch behind the ear. He is always excited to see us when we come home and greets us with a Golden smile and a happy, wagging tail.

Spice is a very happy, handsome guy with an outgoing attitude and a personality that makes him an instant hit with whomever he meets. He would do well as an only dog (remember – he does like to be the center of attention!) or with other dogs—he gets along great with our male and female Goldens. He’s not an alpha male, nor is he submissive; he just wants to be an accepted part of the family (and pack).

This big, gorgeous, loving boy is a great catch and will be a wonderful addition to a family seeking an active Golden. He’s waiting for his forever home—he has so much love and affection to give.
