Adopted
Napoleon
comes to GRR from a shelter south of Austin. His brothers and sisters were sold
as pets—but when the owners couldn’t find a buyer for Napoleon, too, they
dropped him off at the shelter. GRR collected him that very day! He has been
living with his foster family for a few weeks now, and here’s what his foster
mom has to say:
What
is Napoleon made of?
Warm snuggles, sweet
puppy kisses, overwhelming enthusiasm when he greets people, and loyal
companionship.
Napoleon
is an outgoing puppy who is learning how to be a good canine citizen. It is a
tough job to remember all of the rules people make up, but he is doing his best!
Every day for Napoleon
is filled with discovery and adventure. He enjoys a good game of bite-y head
with his four-legged foster sister, pouncing on flying bugs, and finding the
perfect stick to chew on. He is learning that “potty outside” brings him cheers
and treats but transporting socks and shoes to various locations is frowned
upon.
Napoleon
is a totally darling puppy who is ready to conquer the heart of the right
forever home.

Doesn’t chew on anything on the floor. OK, so no one is perfect—but this pup is
darn close.
Napoleon is growing up! He is currently getting formal training, and his
progress has been tremendous over the last couple of months. We are so proud of
him. Napoleon is so sweet and affectionate. He is always ready for a fun romp in
the backyard with the big dogs and is ready to snuggle up next to his people for
some love. It is simply impossible to not fall in love with this little guy when
you meet him. He is going to make a wonderful dog for a family lucky enough to
adopt him.
