As recently seen on “K9-4-hire.com”:

supervising kitchen staff, taste testing, and extensive experience in keeping
laps warm, to name a few.
Salary and
benefit requirements include: room and board (where I room is open to
negotiation, but I do prefer the bed between all occupants), daily walks,
quality play time, and cuddle time. Would love children in the house, two legs

If interested in an interview, please contact GRR immediately.
Kate’s current “employer” gives this recommendation:
Kate came to us as a
scared but adorable 18-month-old, shell-shocked from being spayed, changing
homes, and being separated from her sis all in the space of about a week. She
was scared of walks, other dogs, car rides, loud noises, and everything else
unknown to her. In the few months she has been with us, she has blossomed into a
silly, funny, adorable, sweet puppy with just the right amount of naughtiness (gotta
keep me on my toes somehow) and the biggest heart in the world. She now loves
walks (literally starts to leap when she sees her leash, and prances the whole
way out of happiness), LOVES other dogs, is learning to like car rides
(especially when the car goes to McDonald’s for fries), and is learning about
all the rest. She adores running around with socks in her mouth and living the
good life indoors.
She is such a sweet
and popular girl in our neighborhood. Many of our neighbors have recently
acquired puppies, and ALL the puppies LOVE Kate. We often hear hollering and
yelling at our front door, and when we open the door, a puppy will shoot through
to get to Kate. She is best friends with her 2 1/2-year-old Golden sis, and
she’d love another four-legged friend.
When Kate first came
to us, we noticed she had some trouble going up and down stairs, and a trip to
the vet for X-rays did reveal hip dysplasia. However, our friends (the
two-legged variety) absolutely don’t believe us when we tell them this! —
because Kate runs, jumps, and plays with the best of them. She goes for a 2- to
3-mile walk each evening, too, and on top of that, she wrestles with her sis and
any friend who might stop by throughout the day. No signs of discomfort from all
of that activity! All she needs is consistent exercise, to keep up with the
glucosamine/chondroitin supplement she takes daily and—very
important—to stay nice and lean.
She is so intent on
making up for lost cuddle time that sometimes she forgets her puppy manners and
starts to demand attention—by jumping up a bit, mouthing (though she does so
very gently), and pawing at us. But she’s quickly learning that it’s better not
to do these things, and that she will always get enough love and
attention, especially when she is being good.
I could go on and on
about this red-haired beauty. She is the sweetest girl ever. All she wants is
love, some good food (preferably chicken or peanut butter pretzels from Central
Market), and to feel safe and secure. I can honestly say Kate has never met a
stranger. If you are interested in being Kate’s forever lap, let her know! She
is always open to an interview.
