Happy... Don’t you just love that name! And “happy” is definitely the perfect description of this energetic 2-year-old Golden’s personality.  Happy came to Gold Ribbon Rescue from owners who loved him very much but just did not have enough time to spend with him or a big enough yard for him to play in. He is great with other dogs, loves to play, and loves to be around people. He loves kids, but we think he will do best with older children, as he is just so bouncy and exuberant he might knock the tiny ones over!

Happy just spent 10 days at the Canine Hilton’s Board and Train program, and his trainer reports that he did fantastic. He is currently at his foster home with a male 3-year-old Golden, romping around and enjoying the good life.  He is housebroken and crate trained (although he does let you know he is not that happy to be in there, but then settles down).

Happy is one super dog and looking for that terrific forever home. If you have plenty of energy, this boy would love to be your exercise partner. And if you have another dog, Happy would be thrilled to keep him company and play with him!
