Davie is a super-soft, super-sweet little man at 9 months old. He was found as a stray by a construction crew outside San Antonio.  When the crew arrived on site each morning, Davie was there waiting for his buddies to return. They cared for him for 3 weeks—and when the job was done, the boss took Davie home with him and called GRR.

Davie is just a pup and only weighs about 50 pounds, but he is working on growing into a bigger, strong boy. He is happy and confident. He is eager to try new things and meet new people and animals. This week he learned to swim for the first time and did great! He never even hesitated once. He’s become a playful friend of his foster brother Bailey, who likes to show him the ropes.

Davie is perfectly healthy and house trained. He is quiet, too: we haven’t even heard one peep out of him yet. Of course he’d gladly steal a sock if he could, but he much prefers hugging and fetching doggie toys. As playful as Davie is, he also loves a good nap and to cuddle. Oh, and his nickname is Yoga Dog! That’s because he rests and stretches in the funniest positions. He is totally made of rubber bones. He will lay his head and arms down on the ground all the while leaving his legs standing up and rear to the sky. Too funny.

Davie is going to make some lucky family very happy for a long time to come!
