Bogey  is an adorable 4-month-old female Golden Retriever puppy. She is ready for a forever home. Bogey is a very healthy puppy that has been spayed and has all her shots.

She is medium gold in color and has a beautiful curly coat. When she first came to us she was shy and not quite social. In the short time she has been with us she has responded beautifully and has become happy, outgoing and friendly.

Bogey loves to carry stuff around in her mouth and is sometimes reluctant to give it back. Once in a while you need to take the object from her mouth, but she always allows you to do that. This is another way she is learning to be sociable.

She is fine with the cat, for the most part, but occasionally tries to see how far she can go with the cat and will get swatted on the nose for her trouble. She really only wants the cat to play with her. She likes to be in the water, but doesn’t swim yet—like a puppy she just loves to splash around.

Because she is so young, Bogey needs structured obedience training. We are working on this in addition to working on not jumping. She is definitely crate trained, but gets up regularly at 6:00 in the morning just like an alarm clock. This beautiful, friendly puppy is mostly house broken. A little bit of training and a lot of affection would make this puppy a happy companion for someone who would like this furry friend to love.
