ADOPTED

Chloe is a truly sweet dog with a gorgeous smile. She came to GRR from a loving and caring home (she even has a middle name-her full name is Chloe Ann), but her owner ran into some life changes and simply could not give Chloe the life she wanted for her.

Chloe is well-adjusted and very well trained. She has settled in beautifully and has adapted well to our routine and to my two male Goldens. Everything about her is easy: she loves to be groomed, stands still for her bath, doesn't bother food on the counter, behaves well at the vet's, quietly allows herself to be baby-gated and doesn't seem to
notice ferocious thunderstorms.

Chloe loves to swim in our pool and will retrieve a tennis ball or rod in the water. She has no interest in Frisbees but will retrieve a ball on land. The first day we had her, she eviscerated two fuzzy toys and pulled out the squeakers, so we packed those away. She may be fine now that she has settled in, so we will test her with fuzzy toys again soon. Very friendly and people-oriented, Chloe is a joy to have around. She follows me around the house but doesn't cling or get underfoot. She just likes to be near her people. She gets along well with my two dogs and loves to mouth-wrestle and play with my younger Golden.

Chloe weighs about 77 pounds and needs to get her trim figure back: the vet says that a loss of 10 pounds would be perfect. Chloe loves to go for walks and only pulls a little on the leash. She also loves car rides and travels very well, looking out the window or snoozing on the back seat. She waits for permission to get in and out of the car. Chloe also stays off the furniture, except when asked to come up. She knows her obedience commands and has a perfect sit. She would be fun to compete in obedience or musical
freestyle dancing.

All in all, Chloe is a perfect lady and will make some happy family the perfect companion!
