Milo is the gentle-giant type. He may be built like a Mac truck or Sherman tank, but he really is sweet and caring. He doesn't have a sense of how big and strong he is (87lbs). When he lumbers around the house, he may accidentally move a table or other furniture without even noticing! Thankfully he moves at a slow, easy pace --otherwise he'd be rearranging furniture on a regular basis!

Milo was rescued from the Williamson County Humane Society, so we don't know much about his past. I think Milo really appreciates being at home now. He is interested in everything that happens during the day. He likes to stay close and follow you. He will be there to assist you with all of your chores.

We took a trip in the car last weekend to visit the lake. Milo was eager to splash and wade in the water, but thought twice before he tried the deep waters. Milo likes and plays well with other dogs. When little yappy dogs try to bother Milo, he finds it interesting, but doesn't flinch or bother because he just wants to be friends with everyone.

Milo is also eager to greet and befriend children of all ages. He thinks he's one of them. Milo has been trained for "sit, down, fetch, and drop". He's crate and house-trained, and does not jump. It's fun to watch him toss his own toys up in the air and catch them. Milo is quite self-entertaining.

Milo is going to make a great companion and member of the family. Who could possibly resist this big hug-able couch potato?
