ADOPTED

Goldie  is a beautiful petite blonde girl. Small in stature but big in heart. Her big brown eyes will melt your heart. She is a lover. She is around 18 to 20 months old. She likes to go for long walks and she even likes to watch TV.

She sits on command. When we tell Jade (our other dog) to sit or stay Goldie does the same thing, even if we have our backs to her. She loves to please and she really enjoys lots of attention (don't we all). She wants to be as close to you as possible. So much so that she will rise up on her hind legs and put her paws around you (kind of like giving you a hug). But we're working on teaching her that this isn't the best way to show her affection.

She is getting along with Jade, our high-energy Boxer, and the two of them romp around the house and have a great time together. Goldie is so patient with her. Goldie has not had a lot of contact with our cat (he is somewhat of a recluse) but the few times she's seen him she barks and wants to chase after him.

Goldie has not been around children except on our walks and she seems really interested and eager to play with the children we've seen in the neighborhood. Goldie goes willingly into her crate when we have to leave the house. She had a few accidents in the house when she first came, but she's now housetrained. We do make sure that Goldie goes outside on regular intervals.

Goldie needs a loving home because she has so much love to give. She is a sweetheart and will make a wonderful addition to a family that is willing to open their hearts and home to her and allow her the time she needs to fell safe and secure. Goldie is just that - as precious as gold inside and out.
