Adopted
Charlotte...
Hello, my name is Charlotte and I’m a spunky girl! I arrived at my foster
parents’ house a few days ago and I was so excited to have an older foster
brother and sister. My foster sister is amazed by my bright personality. The
first time I met her she could just tell that she would soon be taking many
naps. My foster brother is a MONSTER black lab that scared me at first, but now
I know that he is just a big pushover. He has showed me all the tricks, like how
to sit really pretty when our foster mom is in the kitchen. If we concentrate
really hard and stare at the pantry, she will actually hear our thoughts and
give us a treat.
I
came to GRR when my owners could no longer care for me. They are in the military
and it was really hard on them and the baby to bring me along when they were
relocated. At first I was really sad, but now I know that my next family will be
for the rest of my life. I used to live in an apartment, so I think that it is
the neatest thing to have a yard to run around in. It took me two days to figure
out how to ask to go outside, but now it is second nature. My foster dad plays
ball with me outside too. Apparently I do a great job because he gets so excited
when I come back to him with the ball in my mouth. I like to return
the favor by retrieving his socks that he put in the laundry the night before.
I’m beginning to learn the difference by his expression.
I
am working on my “counter surfing” and my “high fives”. I know now that this is
not the only way to get attention and love. I would like to find a family that
has the time and energy to give me the home that I deserve. Please keep in mind
that I am great with children and other dogs and if you become my forever family
I promise that I will always put a smile on your face.
