Clover
This is our lady, Clover. There she was at Town Lake Animal Center lost, lonely
and in need of some TLC. She got her bath before leaving the shelter and walked
right out calm, cool and collected while the other dogs barked like mad. We were
tight for foster space so the good people at Dog Camp took her in for a week and
gave us glowing reports of Clover. She got along very well with all the dogs in
her playgroup and everyone fell in love with her. Clover is now with her foster
family and settling in very nicely.
Clover
did have some suspicious lumps and a funny little mole right on the top of her
nose. They were all surgically removed and we're happy to report that they were
all benign and harmless. You might say she's had a little nose job and is
looking so wonderful. She did however, test low positive for heartworms and has
started her treatment. She'll need to keep a low energy profile for the next few
weeks, but it won't be a problem for Clover. She is a calm, gentle soul who is
perfectly content to cuddle up next to you and watch the evening news. She's a
thoughtful lady -- easy to take care of and enjoys lounging around watching the
activity around her. She's not one to jump up on people, chase cats, or counter
surf. She goes outside to take care of her business and then comes right back
in. She's so grateful to have a nice, warm, cozy home -- even if it's only
temporary.
Clover is a very loving, quiet lady -- perfect for a family looking for a
low-energy loyal companion. She knows that there is a family out there that has
been waiting for her, because she's been busy daydreaming about them for weeks.
