Galen...  Meet Galen. He is about 1.5 years old and comes to us from Town Lake Animal Center. He was picked up stray and no one claimed him. He is a sweet boy who is doing well at our home. He does not mind the cat, in fact he pretty much ignores him. He seems to like our three dogs although he is a little shy around them. His history is something we wonder about, he ducks his head if you make a quick movement so we guess he has suffered from some abuse in his past. I tossed him a soft toy and it frightened him, he dropped to the ground, tucked his tail between his legs and quickly put his head down. It broke my heart. I sat beside him, stroked his soft blond fur and promised him no one would ever hit him again. He seemed to understand because he sat up and gave me a soft little kiss on the cheek.
