Stop kissing frogs – your PRINCE has arrived! If you are looking for the perfect canine companion, he is your boy. If you want a loyal and loving dog, he is ideal. If your family needs a gentle, sweet and eager-to-please ball of fluff – look no farther. Meet Prince.

Every once in a while, a really special dog comes along and steals your heart away. For me, that dog is Prince. Prince, a four year old, who came to us as an owner surrender, had spent most of his time living outdoors. This had made him pretty rough around the edges. Although his family loved him, they had not had been able to take care of him the way he needed, and they loved him enough to let GRR try to patch him up and find him the perfect forever home. He has now been neutered and has begun his heartworm treatment. We also discovered that he needed thyroid medication. With all of this medical intervention, he will be in tip-top shape very soon!

Once he got used to being allowed in the house, Prince immediately began speed learning how to be the perfect gentleman and proved himself worthy of his name. He already loved his former family’s cat, so he adapted right away to my own felines. He also adored having my Golden to romp with all through the house. Prince quickly got the hang of being housebroken and within two days was accident-free! He also loves being in the house. He will follow his humans around, making sure to stay close to them at all times. He rapidly learned “crate up” and to walk on a leash like the perfect Golden Retriever that he is.

He loves to chew on toys – and only selects appropriate toys. He doesn’t mind sharing, but he really needs his own special items so he knows he is important and belongs. His slobbery kisses are a delight and there is no better cuddle bug than Prince. This is one very special dog and he will make a family the ideal pet. Trust me; you will fall in love at first sight when you meet Prince Charming. He is a love!
