Cibolo
My
name is Cibolo. I am a 3-year-old male. My owners gave me to GRR because they
knew GRR could find me a home where I would get a lot more attention. I spent
most of my life outside, but I gotta say I love the indoors here at my foster
family’s house. That cool tile sure feels good on a hot Texas day.
I love to go outside and play with my foster sister Kalie (1.5 year old Beagle).
We love to play together and chase each other around the yard. We also like to
play fetch – I always get the ball first and sometimes I like to just play keep
away with it. When I’m in the backyard, I like to sniff around and when I’m
finished, I come to the door and sit down. My foster family wasn’t sure if I was
100% potty trained, but boy did I surprise them. When I have to go potty, I go
to the back door and nudge the handle. I am also very good in my crate.
I Love, Love, Love attention! I love to have my head and tummy rubbed. When my
foster family gets home, I get so excited. Sometimes I jump up, but I’m learning
not to do that. If there’s a free hand just looking for something to do, well I
just put my head right under it to catch a few more rubs. They like that better
than me nosing them for attention. I’m catching on just fine.
Going on walks is another favorite thing I like to do. And, it only takes a
little while for me to remember that my foster Mom doesn’t want me to pull on
the leash. I’m eager to please. I sleep through the night in my crate without a
peep and I get up when everyone else wakes up. Is it too early for rubs?!! What
a wonderful way to start the day!
Cibolo is a wonderful dog that loves the simple things in life like a pat on the
head, a "good boy" praise, a bone filled with treats (loves velveeta), a
backyard to play in, and most of all a family to love him forever.
