Tango

What a great day! It didn’t start out so well however. I woke up to find myself in the same old smelly kennel, stuffed in with some other homeless dogs. The man with the “leash” came to fetch me about breakfast time, and I thought, “Well this could go one of two ways, let’s hope its good news.” When he smiled at me, I knew I was in for a really nice day. I sat very still and perked up my ears in the way that most humans really like as we walked into the lobby. And there she was! The lady who passed me a cracker when she took my picture. I liked her! Things only got better as I was loaded into her car and watched Animal Control grow smaller and smaller in the window, I just knew I wouldn’t be back.

My name is Tango. If you look Tango up in the dictionary, you will see it is a dance with “many elaborate steps and poses” much like myself! I am quick on my feet and adore both humans and canines alike. I am sort of a blonde bombshell in training, as I am too young now to qualify for bombshell status, but it won’t be long! I am only about 1 year old. My favorite activities include, but are not limited to: fetching tennis balls, running around with my foster siblings, getting scratched on the ears and belly by my foster family, and exploring anything! I am learning the importance of sitting, which is hard, because I am so excited to play that I really like to show off my “hops”! I am learning though that this is not desirable and am improving every day. I haven’t ever had an accident in the house, but I might, remember I am still pretty young.

I love the baby that lives here; sometimes she gets in even more trouble than me. Plus I can reach her face without having to jump! I am a little thin and have been eating like a small horse, which is fine since the baby keeps trying to ride me, I like that! I love the indoors, I love the outdoors, I even love the mud! Basically, I love life and am looking for some good humans to share it with! If you are a patient person or family looking for a quality canine companion, I’m your girl. Just remember, you have to like to dance.

Sincerely,

Tango
