Adopted
Meg
comes to GRR from a family who is moving, if she went along she would have to
live in the yard. Since she is content and happy living inside her family
realized she would be very sad if she had to spend her days in the back yard.
Meg's family made a difficult but unselfish decision and decided to ask GRR to
find her a new home
where she could live inside with a loving family.
We get this report
from Meg's first night and day in foster care:
We are all safe at
home. Last night was fun for all. Charlie AKA "The Slug" became the wild child
when we brought Meg home. Life has calmed down today. I was able to work from
home and both Charlie and Meg have been sweet as sorghum molasses on a piece of
grandma's cornbread. (HA! and they say it isn't fun to be southern!) Meg is
getting used to life with her new foster family. She has even gotten right down
and all out played with Charlie (her golden foster brother) several times.
