Marcopolo is a cool 3-year-old boy who comes to us from nice owners who found themselves so busy they did not have enough time for him.  He is great with other dogs and cats and he loves being with people.  He is a bit shy at first but he warms up quickly.  He has not been with young kids yet but he is such a love and he is so gentle that we feel sure he will be fine with them.

Marco doesn't counter surf but he has stolen cloth napkins and placements and he had a great time ripping them apart.  We think we have his desire to steal placemats & napkins under control now.  Who knows maybe he thought it was time for us to get some new ones?

Marco will retrieve a ball but only on his own terms so we can't say that he is ball crazy.  He loves to dig and during the first week he was here he
uncovered all of the ports on our septic tank (the little stinker).

As he adjust to his new GRR life we have noticed that he seems a little "worried" about new things and noises, but his confidence is growing everyday.  His worry is likely because he came from a loving home and he is still learning that it is OK to be in a new place with new people who love him.

The great news is that he was not bothered at all by our recent
thunderstorm, that's right this boy has no fear of storms!

Once Marco's coat grows back (he was shaved at the beginning of the summer) he will have long beautiful redish-gold fur.  All in all he is one great guy who will make anyone an excellent family member.
