Maggie is a ten-year old girl with a white face and dark eyes. We have nicknamed her "Panda" because of her cute facial features. We also call her "Magpie" because she's as sweet as pie. She is very affectionate, and frequently does the typical Golden maneuver on your hand to get you to start petting her. She loves to be smothered with kisses and attention.

She is very calm and not afraid of much. She is fascinated by our cats and can spend hours watching them, but has been very gentle around them. She also loves to watch "Animal Planet", especially The Planet's Funniest Animals show and any show about wolves, dogs, or bears. She entertained the whole family one night as she watched a Dog Show with rapt attention. She is a good traveler in the car. Maggie does have the typical female Golden temperament around other dogs. She will display dominant behaviors, so she needs to be with a submissive dog. She has been fine with our dog, who is about as submissive as they come. He's a barker. Or shall I say he used to be a barker? Maggie has done wonders for him. Now that she has whipped him into shape, they can frequently be seen laying down paw-to-paw--very cute. Maggie is just a happy, cuddly girl with a lot to give. She'll make a fine family member.
