Dakota is a five year old male who comes to GRR via San Antonio. He was a stray and a kind family took him in, tried to find his owner and when they were not successful, they contacted Gold Ribbon Rescue.

This handsome boy is a great housedog and one of his favorite pastimes is to find a quite corner for a nap. He plays well with other dogs, gets along fine with children, he will even walk away from the 2 year old in his foster home when he has had enough attention. He likes toys but doesn't seem very interested in retrieving them, but that's OK, he doesn't have to retrieve them in order to be loved. Dakota is crate trained and happily enters his crate when asked to do so. He is trustworthy in the house and sits beside the door when it's time to go outside for a potty break. This fluffy guy is a big bundle of love. Watch for more as we get to know him better.
