Adopted

Becky is a 4-6 year old red beauty found stray by a good Samaritan.  They searched high and low for her owners bout could not find them.  She gets this report from her foster family:

Becky isn't as much of a ham as other goldens I've known.  When I bring out the camera she doesn't start with the poses a la Elle McPherson.  She is a good dog, and seems to have been an only dog, because  when she gets into the car, she goes directly for the passenger seat.  However, she goes to the back seat when prompted, and stays there happily with the wind in her face.  She is fully housebroken, stays off the furniture, and obeys commands like "no" and "come", but doesn't know "sit" or "stay".  She sleeps all night.  She  enjoys her walks, loves to play ball, chew her bone, and fuzzy squeaky toys.

She isn't destructive, and can safely be left alone with other dogs.  Since she is so good we aren't crating her.  She  nuzzles you for affection  and is a real sweetie pie.  With her auburn good looks I wanted to name her Moira, but Becky is beginning to suit her. Her coat is beautiful, dark and wavy and thick, so  it appears she has been well cared for.  She is good with grooming, and loves being brushed.  Her favorite places to sleep are in the kitchen and on the cool tiles of the entry, but occasionally she parks on my yoga mat!  I see that the  good Samaritan's veterinarian estimated her age at 6, but she may be younger.  Her teeth are pretty clean, she is frisky and she has absolutely no white hair on her muzzle. She also plays  well alone with toys, and scatters them all over the house.  She was growling and shaking a fuzzy-squeaky yesterday.  We are enjoying her  very much!
