Rooster came from the shelter and is a 68# red boy with a tiny bit of white around the muzzle. He is very nice and craves attention. He is about 7 years old and was probably a handful as a youngster. Now he is just sweet and smart! The vet office gal panicked this morning when she arrived at work and could not find Rooster. She finally found him asleep on the oriental rug in the vet's office. He had managed to get out of the kennel (double latch from the outside) and open 2 heavy wooden doors to get out of the kennel area and into the office to take a comfortable nap. He had done this to them once before but they assumed that they had left the latch open. Rooster is an appropriate name for him because "Rooster flew the coop!" Watch for more as we get to know this great guy better.
