Adopted

Jenny... "My birthday was on September 22 and I'm now one year old!  My foster Mom says I am a pretty little girl who just needs to learn some manners.  My first family kept me outside in the backyard, so when people come to see me, I just can't help myself.  I am so happy to see someone that I just have to jump up and down to get their attention.  My foster Mom is excellent at training and she is really helping me.  She is teaching me to sit, stay, leave it, and lots of neat stuff like that.  I am very smart, so I am learning quickly.  Everyone that sees me says I am very cute, sweet and precious.  They call me a happy, bouncy puppy.  All I know is that I'm having fun!!"

Jenny Update:
Jenny is doing great. Lacy has done an amazing job with this little girl.  She is a dream on the leash. (Note: Jenny had full training at Any Dog Can! Before moving to her foster home)
She only chases the cat when the cat runs.  She will sit and let the cat play with her face, but we are VERY closely monitoring the Jenny & kitty interactions.  She isn't used to the cat yet, so we can't recommend or not recommend cats yet.
Jenny wants lots of love all the time.  She will come up and put her head under your hand.  She is very well behaved and just wants approval from her humans.  Watch for more as we get to know her better.

10/08/01 update:

Jenny has really adjusted well to her new foster home. Jenny is an extremely affectionate and caring golden with a remarkable smile. She stays busy playing with Bennie and Mazie ( our six month old kitten plans and commandere's strategic air and land attacks against Jenny and Ben daily). They all love to play and chase. Jenny is very submissive and loyal to her humans and has a wonderful arsenal of training that she gladly displays for her people. Jenny often appears nervous and displays fear of objects and noises she doesn't know. However, she  has not dispalyed any fear to thunderstorms. She has really enjoyed the stockpile of toys, bones and chewies we have around our house. However, her favorite pastime is a sock or a pair of shorts left lying around. Fortunately, she has no desire to chew them, she just loves to prance around the house with them like a proud mom strolling through the mall with her newborn baby. Jenny is an awesome, sweet little lady.
