Hunter and Chase are a two year old brother and sister team. They came to GRR because their previous owners were no longer able to give them the attention they deserved. Hunter is big (103 pound) blonde boy who needs a major diet.  He is healthy and was even thyroid tested because of his size and all was found to be perfectly in order.  He just needs some exercise!  

Hunter's Poem:

A housedog now, she said I would be

 Well, that was certainly fine with me!

But first to the groomers to scrub and to fluff

At the mats on my britches they said, “What’s this stuff?”

The ride home was strange, no bed of a truck,

Instead air conditioning and a crate, wow, what luck!

Finally, I’m on the inside looking out

Boy, I could get used to this, no doubt.

As I snuggled down to rest for the night,

I remembered my prayers and I said them just right:

“Please let them be as nice as they seem,

And not just another backyard dream.”
