Gil
This sweet old gent
came to GRR from a loving family who could no longer care for him. He was
suffering from skin and ear problems, but since coming into foster care, he’s
doing so much better. His vet is delighted with his progress. He’s even starting
to grow some fur back on his formerly bald tail! He has arthritis, doesn’t see
too well, doesn’t hear too well… but that doesn’t stop him from enjoying life:
He has a spring in his step now. Walking around the yard, he actually sometimes
trots. That’s great, as it will help build up some muscle around those bony
hips! He comes up for pets. Loves to have his head rubbed and leans into you,
bumps his head into you as you walk, just wants some loving. Gil would love a
quiet home, but he’d likely be fine in a busy one, too; he will just hang out
and do his own thing, which is mostly lounging contentedly on the cool tile. He
is a very good dog and a sweet boy who deserves a great home and a ton of love.
