Molly...“Oh,
she’s so sweet!” This is the first thing everyone says when they first meet
Molly. And, she IS a little sweetie. When she first greets someone her tail is
going like crazy and she’s quick to give kisses. She’s small in stature and her
coat is gorgeous – thick and soooo soft.
She’s three years old and acts every bit of it. She’s well trained and so well mannered. She knows sit, stay, down and she politely lets us know when she needs to go outside for a little business. She goes into her crate without a fuss. Whether we are inside the house or outside, Molly likes to be wherever we go. And a tummy rub? Oh man, now that’s heaven. She loves the attention and lies still while we brush her until she can get that little push she needs to put her on her back so we have to rub her tummy yet one more time. What a doll.
Typical of a Golden, she loves the water! She had the best time jumping and chasing the water stream from the hose. She literally danced on her hind legs while slapping at the water with her front paws. There she was with water in the face and completely soaked – she was in her element! She's also been out on the lake with us and swimming is definitely one of her favorite things to do. She could stay out in the water for hours if we let her.
She loves to go for walks or even runs! No matter what your pace, she stays right with you. She doesn’t bark at other dogs, and everyone she greets is her friend.
She’s in great health and no matter what the activity –running, walking, swimming, playing ball or simply relaxing with a book – she’s right there. She loves to run after the tennis ball, but she hasn’t quite mastered the bringing it back part. She drops the ball several feet in front of you and I’m pretty sure she knows exactly what she’s doing. She probably figures, “hey, if I have to run for the ball at least you can step a few paces to pick it up!”
Sweet Molly. So beautiful and so willing to give love and receive love. She will make someone’s home so full.
